RCC is embedded in a strong, internationally active group of companies based in Graz, Austria. With its four divisions – PJ Motion, PJ Messtechnik and PJ Monitoring in addition to RCC – the PJM Group offers comprehensive expertise and services from project development to successful commercial operation. 2. Clear track for safety and conformity - why we do what we do
Rail transportation, with its modern rolling stock and complex infrastructure, is bound by many national and international rules and regulations. In particular, the 4th Railway Package introduced by the European Union in 2016 creates very specific framework conditions to make rail transportation even safer, more attractive, more efficient, more cost-effective, and therefore more future-proof and competitive. The so-called “technical pillar” of the 4th Railway Package includes directives on safety of railways and interoperability as well as numerous specifications and regulations in the areas of interoperability and safety.

4. Your contact persons
Alexander Schimanofsky
The experienced rail transportation expert is managing partner of RCC and one of the company’s co-founders. Prior to this, he held various management positions at major international companies in the rolling stock industry. A graduate in mechanical engineering and industrial engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from Graz University of Technology, he has enormous experience and comprehensive know-how across all areas of expertise.
Herwig Waltensdorfer
The proven rolling stock expert is the technical manager at RCC. He graduated in mechanical engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from Graz University of Technology and held leading technical positions at renowned industrial plant construction companies and rolling stock manufacturers as well as within the PJM Group before joining RCC’s management team.
Gerald Pudgar
The quality management expert is the quality management officer and lead auditor at RCC. After completing an apprenticeship as an electrician, studying environmental systems science at the University of Graz and working as a project employee and assistant at the Institute for Machine Elements at Graz University of Technology in the field of measurement technology for rail vehicles, he gained experience as head of quality management at a product certification and inspection body before joining the PJM Group in 2007. He has been working for RCC since 2015.
